11.2 oz bottle poured into trappist glass- poured slighty murky light golden, white head bubbled down, some lacing. Aroma of lemons, flowers, and cloves, very appealing. Hits the mouth with a thin body, ever so slight hops on the start, malt and spices (detected coriander with lemon zest) on the middle and finish, which is dry. Breaks the mold of regular abbey tripels, and I like it!

Huge perfumed lilac, floral nose shows its depth and complexity. Hops, coriander very light caramel all sing in the background. If only this beer could live up to its smell. Excellent spiced hops regrettably fade on the palate. Light mouthfeel and slippery, sweetening finish.

Super hazy light blonde coloured body with a nice white head that leaves a perfect lacing on the glass. Aroma of coriander seed, wheat, hay, grass, flowers, hummus and some light hops. Full-bodied; Strong sweetness throughout with honey and malt the most noticeable. Aftertaste is very mellow and the flavour lasts and lasts. Overall, a good tripel - missing some complexities of other belgiques, but a good one overall. I sampled this 33 cL bottle purchased from Chevy Chase Wine & Liquors in Washington, D.C. on 29-October-2005 on the Eastern Shore of Virginia.

cloudy yellow with huge frothy white head. strong lemon-soap aroma, then bananas followed by clove bread. smooth bodied with a soft carbonation. complex flavor. I first tasted strong mineral banana bread flavors, the next sip had a candy sweetness with spiced apples and lemons. The flavors kept surprising and mixing. I don’t know if this was a good thing or a bad thing, but I kind of liked it.

Pours a golden yellow with medium white head. Slightly fruity on the aroma as well as in the taste. Not that flavorfull for a belgian. I expected a lot more. Cheers!

11.2 oz bottle from Holiday Wine Cellar. Created a fat fluffy pillow of a head but it would eventually simmer down flat. The beer itself was a glowing yellow with some light haze occurring. In the nose, I find a soft delicate European style of hops and the faintest background of grain. The flavor is soapy and has minor notes of white bread and overall is quite chewy to ponder about. An average tripel is the finishing words I have to say about this ale.

330ml bottle. Hazy gold colour with a big white head. Aroma of yeast, honey, grassy hops and spice. Flavour had some sweet malt before fruit and citrus hops took over. Good.
