Aroma intenso de maçãs e cravo. No paladar, banana, maçãs, leve floral, frutas (nectarina?) muito malte e final longo e lupulado. Leve, delicada e refrescante. Tomada no ´t Brugs Beertje, de Brugge.

Pours a translucent golden with a large rocky/foamy white head that left a bunch of lacing. Aroma of tropical fruits, some green apple, Belgian yeast esters and spices, some banana notes and a hoppy floralness. Flavor was a bit earthy with citrus and tropical fruit notes, Belgian yeast, tingly carbonation. I haven’t had a nice Belgian born tripel in a while so this was a nice change of pace.

Bottle. Fruity, light sweet and yeasty Very large foamy white head, clear yellow body. Started sweet, mild and short duration for the abv, endet a little bit sour (but nice). Rather light body, oily mouthfeel, average carbonation, long, mild and a little bit sour finish. Really nice one!

Bottle from the First Houston Tasting
Pours a lively cloudy yellow with an aroma of spearmint. Light dough and lighter lemon in the flavor. Average mouthfeel. Refreshing and light.

Garrafa. Dourada turva, com creme bege consistente e muito denso. Cítrica. Nectarina. Aroma suave, muito bom. Perfumadíssima. Carbonatação média. Final amargo e seco, mas leve. Álcool moderado, suave.

De Garre, Brugge, July 06. Pours with a yellowy pineapple juice haze clear enough to admire the bubbles. Lemony tang and smooth elusive spice. A dangerously beautiful balance of Witbier zest and Tripel potency.

12 oz bottle shared at Houston Beer Tasting. Pours a cloudy, pale yellow color with thick, fluffy white head, which lingered for quite awhile. Good lacing. Some lemon, spice and yeast in the aroma. Carbonation in the mouthfeel. Lemon and yeast in the taste. Good, but mild for a tripel.

Clear honey colored pour with a lace inducing white head. Solid mix of vanilla, banana creme and graham cracker in the nose. The body is silky smooth with notes of honey, banana and caramel. Yeasty goodness in the finish.
