| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 6, 2007 Pours a translucent golden with a large rocky/foamy white head that left a bunch of lacing. Aroma of tropical fruits, some green apple, Belgian yeast esters and spices, some banana notes and a hoppy floralness. Flavor was a bit earthy with citrus and tropical fruit notes, Belgian yeast, tingly carbonation. I haven’t had a nice Belgian born tripel in a while so this was a nice change of pace. Rather light body, oily mouthfeel, average carbonation, long, mild and a little bit sour finish.
Really nice one! KAggie97 (2452), Ugly, Hot, and Humid Spring, Texas, USA
