Fruity and spicy aroma with notes of lemon, flowers, bread and grain. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. Moderately dry finish. Medium body with a smooth, velvety texture. Lively carbonation. Warming finish. Nicely balanced tripel. Zinister (1207), Houston, Texas, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 19, 2007 First Official Houston Tasting. Thanks to BigGreen (BA) for bringing this. Cloudy piss color with a very pissy foam head...sorry, but that’s exacly what it looked like. Had an odd moldy dough aroma. Flavor was like lemon cookies. The palette was softer and lighter than any other tripels I’ve had. Even after that description, I liked this beer. Oakes (8113), gone rambling, Cambodia
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Nov 10, 2007 Hazy dark straw. Thin white head. The aroma is perfumey, spicy (coriander, black pepper), slightly yeasty (dust, foot) with accents of icing sugar and marmalade. Very yeasty (dust) on the palate with hints of marmalade, lime, baguette. Good, well-balanced tripel but I wish the complexity of the aroma translated to the palate. (Poured amazingly by the waitor) Yeast, fruits & hops. Medium bodied. Fresh & crisp - very enjoyable & very well balanced. The best of the Witkap beers! jmuhops (663), Winchester, Virginia, USA

Dry, musty apple aroma with pear, lemon, and light spices. Citrusy flavor with big notes of herbs and spices. Sweet apple just before the short, dry finish. Not the most complex Tripel, but crisp and refreshing. Beershine (2754), Traipsing Around, Cambodia
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 25, 2007 Updated: Oct 26, 2007Pours yellow-golden and semi-opaque with some suspended sediment. Head is fluffy. Aromatic: lemon-lime and yeast are predominant but I do detect the hops there too. Drinkable, inoffensive, and although not exciting, it’s worth a try and might just hit the spot. ogivlado (3088), Zagreb, Croatia

Sweet malty and herbal taste with notes of fruits, honey and spices. Bitter finish and strong herbal aftertaste. Small yeast sediment at the bottom. Doggythedog (1591), Split, Croatia
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 15, 2007 Bottle courtesy of and shared with ozujsko (thanks!) Poured a murky ochre-yellow body with a gigantic white head that went away at a medium to slow pace. The nose was lovely, agrumey (lime), with notes of honey and yeast. The taste, while pleasant, didn’t match up. Sweet, malty, notes of lemon and watermelon, subdued, some herbal hopiness. A bit more intensive, this’d be stunning, but, like this, it’s "only" good.
