Oct 7, 2007 WBF. Hazy pale golden. Fizzy head. The aroma is sweet, spicy, not too awesome. The flavor is spicy, has a bite to it, some alcohol. Carbonated.

Oct 6, 2007 Draught: Aroma of lemon, yeast, and white wine. Pours gold in color with a small white head. Small lacing. Very slightly hazy. Flavor is lightly sweet. Tastes of lemon, yeast, and apples. Medium body. Sticky texture. Soft carbonation. Dry finish.

Sep 12, 2007 [Bottle] Pours light golden with a small white head. Aroma is sweet, with banana and malt coming through strongly. Taste is quite yeasty and sweet. Very smooth. Pretty good overall.

Sep 11, 2007 Pours a slightly cloudy gold with some white head. Nose is strong with yeast and sweetness. Flavor is almost like cake (that is the first thing that came to my head) and on the very end you get a sudden slap of yeast. I think the cake reference is due to a doughy and almost cake like character. As I drink on I find that there is a woody middle flavor. Feel is not highly carbonated, so there isn’t much bubble on the tongue. Drinkable. I would go back to this one again, but not before taking a stroll through several other tripels.
