Draught - ’t Brugs Beertje - Brugge. A straw gold coloured beer with a nice thick white head and decent thick lacing. The aroma is yeasty, spicy, fresh and inviting. The taste has good spiciness. Lots of peppery flavours. Yeast and citrus flavours. Very tasty.

Golden with a large white head. Strong yeast and scented toilet cleaner aroma. Sweet fruity taste with alcohol and some bitterness. A bit on th ewatery side. Lots of frothy fizz. Can’t get too enthusiastic about this.

Bottle at Brugs Beertje. Cloudy gold with lasting off white head. Lovely tangeriney triple aroma. Very attractive aroma, bit of banana. Some creaminess in mouth, bit of mushroom??, bit of stickyness. I like it, very drinkable.

Bottle, own chalice @ Cambrinus, Rotterdam, The Netherlands.
Hazy, summery, yellow-gold body, finely carbonated, and crowned by a wickedly dense, rocky white head that laced well. Spiced up, fresh and oozing with summery citrus fruits in the aroma. Grapefruit, lemons, orange peel, pears and some pale honey. Alcohol is present but wonderfully toned to balance the fruity esters. Very similar in the mouth; spicy and zesty fruits fill the palate well with a dominant showing of soft pears and apples. Underneath is notes of vanilla, cinnamon and vinous alcohol which lead through to the fresh, mildly bitter but short, warming swallow. Body is reasonably light, the carbonation prickly and lively and it bounces across the palate with ease. This is a nice Tripel. One I could see equally suited to a long Winter night, just as well as hot Summer Sundays. Quite nice. (33cL, no date stamp)

Robe blonde très claire surmontée d’une mousse blanche persistante. Arômes légers de malt. Saveurs de malt, de citron et de levures. Triple?
