Slightly cloudy yellow body with a large white head. The head is thick and reminds me of egg whites. The aroma is prunes with some cinnamon and peaches. A very inviting aroma for a tripel that gets more fruit as it warms. The taste is dry prunes with some flowery notes and a slightly biter finish of apple core. There is also some Cinnamon, but it is faint in the mouth after the beer is gone. Soft carbonation makes this a smooth drinker for the high abv, A solid tripel. I want to try more from the brewer as this is only my second from them.

(Bottle) Pours a lightly cloudy golden body with a large white head and excellent lacing. Aroma of floral-based perfume and citrus. Flavor of lemon-grass hops.

Bottle, brought back from a Belgium trip. Poured with a thinnish, but deep head. Aroma is slightly sour, not unpleasantly so. Flavour is typical of good Belgian tripel, some light grapefruit and citrussy aftertastes. Tried this initially in Bruges, and though it was good enough to carry all the way back to the UK in a backpack...

Bottle. Fruity apple spice cinnamon, strong aroma. Sweet and spicy, apples, long finish. Some pineapples. Medicinal nicely, ludens honey. Straw gold with decent head and nice, nice lacing. Very, very nice. I see it hasn’t many ratings... so... I picked this up at the Foodery on 10th & Pine in Philadelphia. This is really worth a try, I enjoyed it a lot.

(bottle) Hazy yellow colour with a rocky foamy white head. Yeasty and citrus fruity aroma with floral hops. Also yeasty and malty initial taste, moderately sweet, fruity (citrus, apple) and refreshing, dry and slightly spicy and hoppy finish. Lacks a bit body.

Hazy golden with a huge white head. Aroma reminds me very much of Orval, grassy and lactic. Some sweetness, then lactic fruitiness takes over and the finish is very dry indeed. Good bitterness. Medium to full body. Not your ordinary trippel, the Orval-like traits are not for the uninitiated either. Still it is nice to taste something out of the ordinary.

33 cl bottle. A lot of yeast in bottom. Pale amber colour with a nice big white head. Great aroma of spice, fruit and some sweetness. Some fizzy flavour of spice, yeast and ends up with awarm feeling.

No#18. Particularly hoppy aroma, grassy and floural, excellent. A very well balanced hoppy taste also makes this a seriously tasty beer, or flavoursome as my notes say.
