Sweet aroma, bready, with hints of flora and pale fruit. Moderately spiced. Pale fruit up front, fairly sweet, mild spices, very clean. Not a big Tripel, softer but very clean and easy on the palate. Soft spices linger on the finish while remaining somewhat bready. Big body, moderate to full mouthfeel. Would be fantastic if it was a bit more spiced and perhaps with a little bit more heat. Otherwise, quite tasty.

Aroma is citrus, apple, bread, spice, and some bitterness. Flavor is strikingly fruity and bitter at the same time. Banana, orange, apple, grass, spice, plenty of hops. Loads up on flavor rather than ABV. Very solid. bask (305), Leuven, Belgium

Coriander, citrus, alcohol, earth and yeast in the aroma. Light bitter flavour, with a somehow fruity but acidic finish. Full bodied. A good one. Dalle (1146), Skørping, Denmark

Yellow, hazy, good creamy white head. Aroma is fruity with banana esters. Much carbonated, crisp. Flavors of lime, wheat and banana. Acidy, long dry aftertaste. MiP (9087), Sønderborg, Denmark
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 26, 2005 Bottle. Nice aroma, yeasty, sweet and fruity. Clear golden colour. The head is white and semi-stable. Looks fine and creamy. Flavour is also quite yeasty. The bitterness is uncompromising, but without getting too harsh for me. The flavour is very clean compared to other tripels, which suits me fine. Carbonation is below average and gives the beer a creamy feel. In my opinion, this is one of the better examples of a tripel. | 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Jul 7, 2005 A well rounded Abbey-style tripel, with unusual lemony notes astride a backbone of spice and strength. A bit yeasty and flat--but very distinctive nonetheless.
