This was $4.69 and a pretty good buy for a beer of this quality. Pored a cloudy orange with a foamy white and long lasting head and good lacing. Nose of caramel malts, coriander, and floral yeast Smooth and light mouthfeel. Lots of flavors with some apple. Very easy to drink and enjoyable.

Cloudy, pale yellow color with a frothy white head. Plenty of citrus aromas, yeast, and coriander. Very similar taste. Pretty light. Almost no alcoholic taste or smell. Just average. Could be stronger.

Bottle: Milky, pale golden to golden, small creamy layer; sweetish fruity nose with a distinctive hoppy touch (not white wine, IMHO); solid bitter-sweet flavour, quite light bodied, creamy MF; spicy-hoppy ad fruity-grainy finish. Unusual, but much more interesting than many sweet tripels.............

Bottle. Pours hazy orange with an average, frothy, white head, somewhat lasting with fair lacing. Aroma is average malt (cookie, bread), heavy hops (flowers, perfume, grass), average yeast (earth, barnyard) with notes of grape and pear. Light bodied, alcoholic texture, lively carbonation, and a bitter finish. Average duration, light sweetness, moderate acidity and bitterness.

Bottle, bought @ Willems, Grobbendonk.
Pours hazy golden with a small frothy, white head. Becomes a fine creamy film. Great malty aroma, some doughiness, pineapple, oranges, pear and green apples. Medium carbonation, good mouthfeel. Flavour is lightly fruity tart, there is a lot of green apples in this one. A touch of coriander and a fair viniousness. A very nice tripel that has no bad sides.

Pour is dark golden hazy. Some light colored yeast at the bottom. Beautiful fluffy white head. Nose is bready w/ large amounts of alcohol. Some sour fruits, bready, and a minor note of alcohol in the mouth. Light mouthfeel. Pretty good.

On tap at Rose & Crown in Palo Alto. Pretty standard tripel, not a standout. Yellow with nice white head, light fruits and slight hop character on the aroma. Same on the flavor with substantial yeast. Slightly watery on the mouthfeel for a tripel. Good beer, but pretty average for the style.

Good tripel. Yeasty and fruity. Maybe a little light on the hops--not zingy enough.
