Jan 21, 2009 Pours a light orange/straw color with a medium thick creamy white froth on top. Odd aroma for a tripel, grassy, lighter sweet candi malty, peppery, touch of orange/citrus. Taste is similarly awkward, bready, grassy, touch of citrus, light candi malt, sugary, hint of pepper, quite floral. Gross alcohol aftertaste. Really weak watery body.

Very fruity, vinous aroma with lots of honey and come citrus. Deep honey gold color with a thick, firm head that never went away. Flavor of honey, citrus hops, melon, plum, raisins, sherry, and a touch of alcohol. Amazingly smooth and silky, yet slightly effervescent. Great. Hops milder, yet very complex with age.
