2008-03-07. Aged one year Golden yellow with a good white head. Flavour has mild sweet pale malt foundation, light dry alcohol is just enough to know that it is there. Hints of very dry fruit - pears and/or lemons? Glimpses are mild and brief, hard to firmly define. (6+) Muted aroma, sweet pale malt, mild alcohol, like a pure distillation that has been slowly waved past a pile of ambiguous random fruit, which has imparted but a whisper of its presence to the alcohol. Average palate. Meh. Not sure aging this did it any favours.
On tap at Delerium, Brussels

330ml bottle (Cracked Kettle, Amsterdam)
Hazy straw colour, tiny head. Sweet fruity aroma - some peppery hops too. A little watery, but not such that it feels gutless. Gentle but powerful bitter taste - hoppy pepperiness goes up the nose, and resiny hops and yeast stay at the back of the tongue. Refreshing and crisp, though a little alcoholic.

Body: light yet creamy body,

ZBF2008: From tap. Pours pale and clear yellow with a collapsing white head. Very mild spice note. Flavour is light caramel malty and with a very mild spice note. Goes into a smooth and light yeasty finish. Rather thin triple, not bad though.

This one really got me messed up, drank ten bottles and wow am I buzzed. j/k, nice, if a little thin and not too complex blonde, tons of foam, instantly reminded me of a wheat beer mixed with a basic abbey ale... not bad but nothing special

Golden-amber bodied with a big white head that couldn’t wait to leave, this has a big floral aroma, yeasty, with sweet and tart citric scents and a light spiciness. The flavor was more reserved, honey sweet malts with warm spices and a floral bitterness that lingered for quite some time. Pretty decent over all.

11.2 oz bottle poured into trappist glass- poured slighty murky light golden, white head bubbled down, some lacing. Aroma of lemons, flowers, and cloves, very appealing. Hits the mouth with a thin body, ever so slight hops on the start, malt and spices (detected coriander with lemon zest) on the middle and finish, which is dry. Breaks the mold of regular abbey tripels, and I like it!
