Papsoe (10254), Frederiksberg, Denmark Aug 3, 2005 (Bottle 33 cl) Hazy, orangey beer with a bubbly, pop-like head. Slightly citrusy nose, but more dry than acidic. Spicy but not the most refined Witbier. Thanks to Christine for bringing this. 020401 Daniel_Brown (1919), Birmingham (via Leicester), West Midlands, England Dec 7, 2003 On tap at De Hems, London. My absolute favourite wit beer, which I have been lucky enough to sample twice, on tap, in England. This is superb: beautiful in the mouth - effervescent, smooth, and creamy; great juicy, fruity taste, with a wonderful firm head, and truly more-ish quality. jbrus (4178), Delft, Netherlands Mar 11, 2002 Updated: Oct 23, 2003I drank this years ago when it was brewed by Oranjeboom. Never ever dared to drink it again. What a bad white! But now I've tasted the Witte Raaf by Arcen ... it's not bad at all. Maybe even more than average ;) Lemon and spices aroma. Hazy honey color, frothy head, good lacing. Light sweet, light citrus/lemon, moderate full. Long sweet and light lemon finish.
