Commercial Description:
Also marketed as Rosarda in the UK
A blend of regular Wittekerke, the best Belgian wheat beer, known for its fruity aroma and taste, together with 10% of the purest Raspberry fruit, and a dash of the Petrus Aged Pale ale, the original mother beer that is aged in oak for up to 3 years. This combination is made in heaven, beer-heaven at the Bavik brewery in Belgium.

On tap at Max’s Baltimore. Not sure why this one is rating so low because I thought this was an excellent fruit beer. Poured a hazy amber/rose color with a slight pinkish head. Aroma is of natural raspberries. Flavor is tart from the raspberry but still has a good touch of hoppy/maltiness about it. This beer had a natural flavor about it not that artificial fruit flavor like lots of other crappy summer wheats I have tried lately. I would drink this one again for sure.

In a pink energy drink can. A sweet raspberry aroma. A little artificial like the jelly in a donut. Is a reddish yellow color. Does not look like a beer. Very sour initially. Raspberry flavor follows. Is not as artificial tasting as it smells. There is a little bit of sweetness at the end, but mostly just sour raspberries. It reminds me a bit of a fruity lambiic, but not as good. Like one of the other raters said, I would probably just rather have a Belgian Wit or a Lambic. This does not really work. A wierd old musty flavor is there too. This is just plain odd.

tasted on draft as well as from bottle. Although a freet beer it is not that sweet. A medium fruit beer

At long last, a can of "the fruity pink" is mine, all mine! Lucky, lucky me... Contents of 8.4 ounce can (why?) fill slightly 1/2 of my glass with a cloudy, pinkish red liquid, smallish pinky-white head. Tart raspberry nose wafts out...candyish... Bracingly sour at the fore, puckering, then...poof! nothing, gone in a flash. The palate is drained dry before we could feel any flavor from the brew, such as it is...This raspberry flavor overtakes any of the charm of the witbier style, which Wittekerke does so very well, and delivers something forgettable, and, ultimately, regrettable. What is this supposed to be? A mix of framboise sweetened lambic with a wit? It’s the worst of both worlds! Is it a cheap attempt to cash in on the "chick market" with an artificially sweetened, artificially flavored brew? didn’t work! Tastes like Sweetarts mixed with Kool-Aid, watered down! Deserves to die...bad Bavik, bad!

Bottled - Swan & Rushes - Leicester. A hazy, light pink coloured beer with a white head. The aroma is very sweet and fruity with reasonably tart raspberries. The taste is sweet and fruity. Raspberries again. Quite poppy, and dare I say girly, but a bit of fun I suppose.

Bottle. The smell of perfume with moderate hops and grapefruit. Pink colour, white head which disappears nearly. Very sweet beginning and ending, a average duration (which is already to long for me). Light body with a lively carbonation. This one’s definitely not for me...
