Sweet flavour, quite a lot of raspberry. Slight acidity and aspartam in aftertaste. Starts off OK, but gets yucky after a while. austinpowers (2828), New York, New York, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 1/5 | 1/10 | 1/5 | 11/20 | May 4, 2006 Pretty tart. In fact, a little too tart for my taste. It’s a shame, because Wittekerke is my favorite Wit, and I had high hopes for this Rose, but it was an overly tart disappointment. Further, it lacked the interesting aroma or character of a Lindemans Framboise, but then again, it’s 1/5th the price. It came in a pink can, by the way. Beerdedone (1888), Croydon, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 24, 2006 Pours pink with a nice white, crispy froth that settles quickly. Not unlike a hot pink teddy with white lace. Great raspberry flavors. Has a nice sweetness and it’s not sour like a Lambic. Very refreshing and DANGEROUSLY easy to drink. Better than any American cooler. A hit with the girls. Highly recommended. My girlfriend loves it. DavidP (1743), Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 21, 2006 Can. Hazy orange-pink body under a frothy white head. Lots of carbonation. Bonus points for not being filtered. Straightforward aroma of tart raspberries and coffee cake. It smells very nice, really - fresh off the bush. The flavor is dissapointing as the raspberries are less sweet and bold giving way to sugar cookie and light grassy bitterness. Acidic lemony, metallic finish. The mouthfeel is fizzy but it has some viscosity to keep the flavor around. This stuff isn’t bad for a fruit beer targeted at youngsters as there’s still some complexity to it and it’s tart instead of sweet.
