It did make me slightly embarresed to buy it because of the pink can obviously marketted at women. Also I know the bottled version would taste better. While the can gives it a slightly tinny taste the quality still comes through. The flavor tastes natural, unlike Lenies which tastes like nutra sweet. However it is a little too sweet. If they water it down slightly they could challenge the Lindemans. All in all pretty good caesar (3034), Bunnik/Utrecht, Netherlands

Pours an outstanding light red, with a pinkish head that last a long time. Sweet & tangy, like pure fruit juice with a beer chaser. This is very, very similar to Leinenkugels Berry Weiss. A little too tangy though. I got mine at the Grape & Grain in Mequon, WI.. Cans: 8.5 ounces each. At only 8 1/2 oz. drinking one or 2 is an easy treat. Any more than that and it gets sickening. I recommend giving this a try if you like raspberries. Something even better in the raspberry/beer department is Founders Rübæus. Try them both! Bockyhorsey (2551), Mesa, Arizona, USA

Hazy red-bonk, small reddish head. Quite fresh rasberry aroma, but lemonade-like. Sweet rasberry juice flavor, sugary (saccarine), in the finish artifical plastic notes. Harshness in the aftertaste . "Beer" for kids. Dickinsonbeer (3494), Hoboken, New Jersey, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Oct 13, 2005 Pretty good raspberry aroma at first then got a bit too sweet. Flavor is watered down, tart and a bit sour. Flavor got almost medicinal towards the end. Magjayran (1379), Durham, North Carolina, USA

I went to a show tonight. PBR was $2.50. I brought a six of this beer in 8 oz cans so that I could chug beer outside without missing too much. This beer is pink, it smells and tastes like raspberries and it’s fairly cheap. If it was served in a corked 750 mL bottle I’d hate on it til the cows came home. But as a quick and easy alcohol delivery system it serves its purpose. Basically, this is Abita Purple Haze in easy to drink cans. Feel free to hate it for being a commercial ass fruit beer, but love it for playing a role in getting people drunk quickly and easily. Brilliant marketing saves the day. dwyerpg (2545), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 7, 2005 Smells like raspberries. A little lambicish in texture. Mostly though, the can and the carbonation remind me of energy drinks. Hard to think of it as beer.
