Sounds like the manliest drink ever. Pours with a nice reddish pink hue and a decent head. The aroma is, of course, a big raspberry hit. The taste is somewhat strange; almost like sugar-free chewing gum. You can really taste the aspartame in it. This isn’t entirely a bad thing, but it’s not a good thing either. It’s decent for what it is, but not something I would normally drink. Boutip (2399), Gatineau, Quebec, Canada
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jul 25, 2009 Bottle: Poured a clear light pinkish color ale with a medium size foamy head with good retention and average lacing. Aroma of raspberry syrup with light tart notes. Taste is quite sweet though not overly with some syrupy raspberries and a very faint tart finish. Not as bad as expected or as bad as other Belgian fruit beers but not the greatest drink ever. cfrancis (358), Gloucester, Ontario, Canada
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 24, 2009 For a fruit beer this was pretty good. Very fruity in the aroma and taste, very raspberry. Pink colour with a pinkish white head. Enjoyed. Rynoplasty (546), Louisville, Kentucky, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 22, 2009 Ok, the beer I had was a very out of date can with an expiration date of 7/11/06. The aroma was sour rasberry. The flavor was tart sour rasberry, with not much sweetness to go with it. I think the three years helped this beer, as it almost tasted like a dry lambic, lol. Not bad but not great. probstk (1064), Nepean, Ontario, Canada

App.: Pink-amber, light pinkish head.
Aroma: Fresh, tart raspberries, some raspberry jam, a little green raspberry bush.
Palate: Medium body, fairly full effervescence, tingly and slightly astringent.
Flav.: Extremely sweet and fruity, raspberry and cherry candy, very light funk; very sweet with some tartness.

| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 1/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Jul 13, 2009 250ml bottle from the LCBO. Pours a hazy pink to match the lable, which is VERY feminine. Smells nice, but is sickeningly sweet, with a nasty cough syrup like finish. Tried to pawn it off on my wife, but she couldn’t drink it either. Talk about usless calories! harrisoni (6946), Ashford, Kent, England

Lots of raspberry on aroma. Hey its a slightly sweet, slightly belgian wit, fruity beer. Not the worst thing in the world, but it could be a lot better and way too sweet too. OK, but a tad too sweet.
