Poured a cloudy pink-gold with a rose cap.
Promising aroma: some biscuit, spice and fruit and earthy tones.
Flavor was a letdown. Fruit and sweetness predominate and obliterate any other flavours. The sweetness seems synthetic as well.
I had look forward to this one as I like
Wittekerke witbier and thought this was a sort of wit cocktail with fruit and Petrus red...but it is simply far too sweet to define any complexity at all.

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jun 18, 2009 Poured out an excellent pinkish orange colour with fair sized bubbles that only created a little bit of white head that goes quickly to a ring but retains at that level. Very good aroma: some yeast, strong "Swedish Berry" candy, slight zippy, sour, tart odor and a bit of acridness as well. The taste was watery with some yeast and very light raspberry but contains an obvious sugar content. The mouthfeel is thin, empty, sour and a shortlived dryness. | 0.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 1/5 | 1/10 | 1/5 | 1/20 | Jun 13, 2009 this is bloody awful. I loathe the flavor os aspertame! This is stuff is so sugary, cloyingly sweet! This isnt beer this is hummingbird feed. i think i’ll dump it into my hummingbird feeder and see what happens.
Just brutal. Cirrhosis (619), Edmonton, Alberta, Canada
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jun 12, 2009 Beer smoke is filled with sour raspberries. Dark pink cloudy body with no real cap to speak of except for a small bubble ring on the edge of me glass. Raspberry aroma with elements of peach and grape no malt present really. Brew taste ok except for the fact there no beer flavour to it at all taste more like diet pop and I say diet pop because it has a dry aspartame finish. Nothing but a collage of fruit flavors here raspberry, peach, apple with maybe a slight hint of wheat thrown in. Ugg… my aroma marks just went down, when beer got warm I swear it starts to smell like an arm pit. This stuff is easy to drink but wouldn’t call it a beer. sebletitje (1920), Tampa, Florida, USA

pours rose, with pinkish/rosée head.
Aroma was overly sweet, sugary like a grandine sirup.
Taste, too sugary, grenadine, wheaty and sweet rapsberries.
It’s not horrible, very drinkable and refreshing. Not complex. mannika (101), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 3/10 | 1/5 | 7/20 | Jun 6, 2009 250mL bottle. Pours hazy pink/rose with tart raspberry aroma. Taste is artificially sweet - almost like a diet soda. Light raspberry taste, but tartness is drowned in sweetness. Overall a bit too artificial and sweet - prefer the lambics with more tart and a sharper finish. JesseM (666), Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario, Canada
| 1.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 4/20 | Jun 3, 2009 250mL bottle from the LCBO, pathetically over-priced for its size. Pours a hazy redish pink with a small white head. Aroma is of rasberry, not obnoxiously fake, sweet candi sugar, bit of malt and sour funk but it’s incredibly faint. Flavour is basically alcopop upfront, sweet, aspartame-y type pop aspect, sugar, rasberry, sour, finishes with a cornyness that reminds me of crappy pale lagers. Interesting, the combination of flavours are an accomplishment for how bizarre and unneccessary they are. Can’t really finish it, it’s just too much, and I get head aches from aspartame. Probably causes several totally different forms of cancer. What a waste of space. cyrenaica (440), Milton, Ontario, Canada

Two things pop out at me right away. The label says "The fruity pink beer" and it contains "aspartame". So, a fruity diet pink beer?
I tried this ’beer’ on May 29, 2009 at "Smokeless Joe’s" in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer poured a reddish pink colour with a thin white head that stuck around. The aroma was sour raspberries and grainy malt. The mouthfeel was medium bodied and hjighly carbonated. The flavour was sugary sweet. It tasted very good, but not beer-like. More like what Canadians call a ’Cooler’
