[Bottle from nice Els.] Funny look similar to fanta exotic. True too sweet raspberry aroma and similar flavor. Much carbonated and some citrus. Some awful.

Bottle @ Plan B. Amber and kinda pinkish in colour with a medium sized fizzy head. Quite sweet and fruity and feels somewhat artificial. Sodapop.

25cl can from Beer World Largo. Appears amber in color with a thin white head that dissipates quickly to near nothing. Aroma is strongly of fruit and raspberry. Taste is tart and raspberries with a sour finish.

This beer is pretty good for a raspberry wheat beer. It has a very strong raspberry aroma and it certainly follows through into the swallow. It is a hazy reddish yellow with particles in it. It is well-carbonated and only has a slight twinge of alcohol in the finish. I like it. It’s not Westvleteran 12, but it is a good raspberry wheat.

Can from the John’s Grocery (Iowa City, IA). This beer (and it’s price) peaked my girlfriend’s interests so I snagged one from the 6 pack to rate. Poured into a sampler glass. Pours grapefruit juice-esque hue that is relatively hazy and lively with carbonation. Has a white head that is fairly large but starts to die down fairly quickly. Smells of alcohol and sugary sweet raspberry syrup strong enough to easily cut through my congested allergy ridden nose. Taste is more subdued than the aroma, tasting of very tart yet light in strength raspberries. Very little malt noticeable with light tartness it’s main characteristic and a bit of beer stink on the end. Lacking and I doubt it would even be suitable for the women it seems to be targeting. Still, it is drinkable and has a few nice moments with it’s tartness emphasized over the sugary sweetness expected upon smell.

Sure, I could think of a hundred beers worse that this, but the makers of this beer were making it with the female beer drinker in mind. I’m sure they wanted something fruity and easy to drink. Well, it’s fruity and easy to drink. The beer pours out something that looks like pink grapefruit juice with a lot of foam on top. Sweet raspberries dominate the nose. Sweet raspberries dominate the flavor. Mouthfeel was soft-drink like in texture. Not bad really and refreshing at least. I doubt I could drink many of these, but it’s not horrible at least.

Pours a peach/pink color with a medium white head. Aroma is raspberry and refreshing. Very sweet with real raspberry flavor and I can taste the artificial sweetener which brings it down a fair amount. The price was right on this one and believe it sells well to those looking for a sweet beer or cooler.

Strawberry peach pink persuasion. My girlfriend liked this one, I thought it was mediocre at best. A little to sweet for my tastes, I was expecting something a little spicier and sour. At least it has a real fruit flavor to it, so it gets points for that, there’s nothing worst than that extract sacharine flavor.
