None of the cereally sweetness of the standard Wittekerke, but some smoke, malt and honey. A bit medicinal and antiseptic-tasting. No real witbier character, it’s more like a Barbar shandy. Prefer it without the honey. yespr (12414), Copenhagen O, Denmark

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 23, 2007 Bit average. Cloudy yellow, smells a bit of vinegar and cider, not a good thing. Slight fruity smell but overall smells pretty ropey. Like some stuff I used to rub on my legs as a kid on a saturday morning playing football. I forget why. I was a heterosexual. Gone flat very quick. oh6gdx (9104), Vasa, Finland

Aroma is bread, fruits, some hops and wheat. Flavour is wheat, fruity, bready and slightly spiced and vegetably. sayravai (3777), Helsinki, Finland

Wheaty, acidic aroma with lemon and hints of honey. Grassy-wheaty flavor with some acidic sourness. Pale-malty flavor with some sourness - like a mix of normal Wittekerke and De Troch Lambic - with the sugar removed. Light to medium body with lowish carbonation. Average and quite boring in every sense. SHIG (2046), Aviano, Italy

The aroma was citrus with a wheatie cereal. The taste was bitter and tingled of alcohol, but overall it was blah! Jerre (1768), Waregem, Belgium

Appearance of cloudy champagne with no head. The taste is not quite as alcoholic as the aroma but pretty bland. Cant even pick anything out. Watery and not very impressive.
