The aroma was a little wheaty and spicy with some hints of citrus. The flavor was very smooth and had a little spice with the expected wheaty-ness expected from a wit beer. This is a very enjoyable Belgian wheat and a good representation of the style.

Received from Belgium. Pours with minimal head but beautiful apricot-pink glow, which I have never seen anything else like this similar in a beer, gets this beer back where it should be. Aroma is toasty and very hoppy (Saaz?). Palate is very firm and slightly dry. Very winey taste with apricots, tropical fruits, and hints of nuttiness. Decent. bierkoning (6089), La Tropica, Netherlands
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 26, 2003 Lemon tea aroma. Slightly herbal, milky flavor. The lemon dominates. Medium to full bodied. Hint of yoghurt sourness. Not a perfectly brewed witbier, but has bite and lots of flavor. mgermani (865), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 3, 2009 Other than the extra 0.8% ABV I’m not sure what distinguishes this from the original Wittekerke. Pours a cloudy dull straw with a ring of foam and some lacing. Aroma is full of coriander, spicy and sweet. Taste is full and sweet with lots of coriander, but a light tartness to balance. Lingering coriander finish. Body is coating and lightly carbonated. Very quaffable. SilkTork (4184), Rochester, Kent, England
