| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jan 23, 2009 Pours a pale cloudy white with a two finger creamy white head. The nose was subdued, not really smelling like a witbier, some earthy character, no citrus, mildly wheaty. The flavor shows some corn, a tad crisp, very mild spice, grainy, hay, not too hot and lacks traditional wit character. More like a simple wheat beer than a wit. improvjock (100), Namegata-shi, Ibaraki-ken, Japan

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jan 7, 2009 Sampled from 11.2-oz can at friend’s party. Pours a semi-hazed golden pale brew with a thin white head that quickly dissipates to a fine film. Aroma of lemon zest, a hint of golden grain malt with wheat, some mild earthy herbs and a touch of corn. Taste is light to medium bodied with flavors of golden grain malt, some lemon and lemon zest with some corn character. Finish is semi-sweet, some extra carbonation compared to most other witbiers with a short lives lemon zest aftertaste. Missing the typical Belgian yeast, corinader but still drinkable. thornecb (1785), Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA
