Jan 20, 2008 Tasting notes from Norman Knight (2004). Amber-brown with thin head. Sweet malt and biscuit aroma notes. Fruity malts with balancing citrus flavours. Dry finish. Nice, but prefer the "toad" for a session.

Feb 12, 2006 [Cask at Volunteers Arms, GBBF 2005] A hazy amber beer with a small beige head. The aroma is sweet estery combined with diacethyl. The flavor is sweet malty with strong notes of caramel.

Aug 23, 2005 Cask conditioned and handpulled at the Brunswick, Derby. Looks like I got the rogue barrel, then; barnyard aroma, salty taste. Not promising.
