pivnizub (3600), Porúří, Germany Apr 2, 2008 Bottle: Golden, medium-sized, slowly collapsing lacy white head; sweet pale- and caramelly-malty nose with a good dash of herbal hops; solid bitter-sweet flavour, rather light bodied for a beer of 6.7%; first sweet, later quite dry bitter finish. Tastes a bit like an average, "souped-up" Pils............
MiP (4744), Flensburg, Germany Apr 23, 2008 Bottle, 6.7%. Rough spent grain aroma. Clear yellow colour, small white head. The flavour starts off with a very uncompromising bitterness. Then it turns very malty with a little smoke and a little cream. Quite surprising, and not bad. KimJohansen (2304), Copenhagen V, Denmark Apr 7, 2008 Clear golden with tiny white head. Sweet aroma with notes of unfermented brewing cereal and alcohol. Sweet bready flavor with notes of brewing cereal and caramel. fonefan (4045), Ulfborg, Denmark Apr 4, 2008 Bottle. Clear medium to dark yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, moderate hoppy, flowers, lime - lemon. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium to light, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. (080308) thewolf (3392), Kolding, Denmark Apr 2, 2008 Bottle. [thank you, Yespr]
Pours pale golden with a good, frothy white head - okay lacing. Aroma is sweet, vinious (almost cloying), doughy and wet grains/brewing cereal. Oily mouthfeel - but no in a particularly good way. Flavour is alcoholic, sweet, corn flakes and maltiness. Not for me!
