Magic_dave6 (3476), Glasgow, Scotland May 1, 2008 Cask at paisley beer fest. Alround rating: Malty, chocolate malts, bittering grassy hop. Malty and could be great but the bittering hop gets in the way a little.
harrisoni (4754), Ashford, Kent, Kent, England Jun 3, 2008 Cask gravity at Reading BF 08. I stood at the bar and rated all the Wolf beers that I haven’t had before. Very deep chestnut/dark brown with thin beige head. Some caramel/toffee. Decent condition. OK session bitter. Not huge flavour, but what is there is drinkable. Tangy hop on finish. Fine. cgarvieuk (2119), Edinburgh, Scotland Mar 2, 2007 brown coloured lae, with a sour malt nose, medicanally toned with a slightly sour edge, possibly off hughie (2020), Bedford, Bedfordshire, England Dec 1, 2006 Cask at the Wellington Arms, Bedford. Dark brown with a small white head. Sweet aroma, malty taste with some sourness. Excellent. imdownthepub (3817), Banbury, Oxfordshire, Oxfordshire, England Sep 1, 2006 Cask conditioned at The Live & Let Live, Kings Lynn, Norfolk. Dark brown beer with malty head. Smooth malty, if thin mild. A degree of fruitiness with touches of bramble and a sharp tangy finish. Not quite there for me though.
