Cask at paisley beer fest. Alround rating: Malty, chocolate malts, bittering grassy hop. Malty and could be great but the bittering hop gets in the way a little.

Jun 3, 2008 Cask gravity at Reading BF 08. I stood at the bar and rated all the Wolf beers that I haven’t had before. Very deep chestnut/dark brown with thin beige head. Some caramel/toffee. Decent condition. OK session bitter. Not huge flavour, but what is there is drinkable. Tangy hop on finish. Fine.

Dec 1, 2006 Cask at the Wellington Arms, Bedford. Dark brown with a small white head. Sweet aroma, malty taste with some sourness. Excellent.

Sep 1, 2006 Cask conditioned at The Live & Let Live, Kings Lynn, Norfolk. Dark brown beer with malty head. Smooth malty, if thin mild. A degree of fruitiness with touches of bramble and a sharp tangy finish. Not quite there for me though.
