Bottle with former DDR label, from Der Doppelbock. Pale blonde, cloudy. Citrus, traubenzucker, chalk, salt and some flowery hops in the aroma. Salty flavor, sour with citrusfruit, especially lemon. IMO a mix of a Gose and a Berliner Weisse. Very tasty and likeable, in fact excellent!

Courtesy of Fonefan. First of all, you have to know, this is a Berliner style weisse, otherwise you would rate it wrong. At least I would have disliked it :) But knowing this, it’s a pretty nice specimen. The color is unclear, light golden like a wit and the head is weak. The aroma has notes of vinegar and barnyard. The flavour has notes of vinegar, chalk-remover, a sharp, but refreshing, citrus, light malt and the finish is sour and slightly sweet.

(50 cl bottle thanks to larsniclas!)

Cloudy very pale lemon juice color, white small head. Acidic to sour scent. Malty before swallowing, turns quite sour immediately when swalloed. Medium to spritzy mouthfeel. No bitterness, though very dry.

Bottle (50 cl), thanks larsniclas. Hazy golden, low head. Sour and funky with some vinager notes. A bit too sharply sour for my liking.

Bottle, thanks doppebock! Strong vinegar aroma. Pale, yellow, hazy, little carbonation. Fresh lemon, taste, rhubarb, very dry, refreshing. One dimensional, sure, but very interesting beer.

Bottled, thanks chimalli! Hazy pale yellow, brief head. Lemony and sulphury nose. Light bodied and crisp, very citric and tart with a lovely freshness. Feels full of life and has a complexity and depth of flavours thst is unseen at 2.5%.

Medium white head. Pale yellow hazy body. Sharpish acidic yeasty wooden aroma with herbal notes. Thin, harmonic, clean, and balanced. Sharpish sour lemony yeasty wooden taste with herbal notes. Very thin body, clean palate. Sharp sour yoghurty aftertaste. Really dries out the mouth. Nice, and very unusual. (0.5l bottle shared by KnutAlbert.)

Bottle@Omhpers place, cheers! Appearance: Fuzzy yellow with a nice white head. Aroma: Citric Notes, Wheat, Lambic-like sourness. Taste: Citric Notes, Bread, Spices, Youghurt-sourness, Fruit. Excellent stuff! Palate: Sour, dry and very refreshing. This one impressed me and at only 2.5% it’s a winner. Hell yeah!
