Flavors are well blended and sweet like apple pie apples. A hint of added sugar enhances the pie perception. Not too bad of a cider. Could be a bit more adventurous and complex. It has a apple aroma and a little bit of a wine aroma. It has a very sweet apple juice taste and nice carbonation. I like this hard cider better than most that I’ve tasted. | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Aug 31, 2009 bottle: pint glass: so much better than the pear! Pour was the same, highly carbonated but leaving a thing film of head. The nose was all apples, reminds me of childhood... Solid cider taste, nothing over the top... again this is only a once in a while drink for sure... drowland (1436), Tallahassee, Florida, USA

Good but not overly surprising and new but still a nice treat every now and then. Good amount of carbonation. After more than one you will feel it in the stomach. Best when mixed 50/50 with Guinness Draught to make a black apple. Also cuts down on the acidity. jbye4334 (719), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA

Sweet apple flavor with light alcohol. Avg duration. Finish has a very light bitterness. Thin texture. Soft carbonation. Spare lacing. ben4321 (1061), Rockville, Maryland, USA

I’m certainly not going to go overboard attacking this one or anything, I think it’s OK for a cider, not great, but not terrible, but I actually prefer some of Woodchuck’s other offering more then this one. It servers its purpose, but at the same time, I rarely find myself wanting one of these...
