Bottle. Pour is medium to light golden. Aroma is sweet with a hint of tart apple skin. Flavors are well blended and sweet like apple pie apples. A hint of added sugar enhances the pie perception. Not too bad of a cider. Could be a bit more adventurous and complex.

12 oz bottle. Pours a pale yellow color with a almost nonexistent quickly vanishing white head. It has a apple aroma and a little bit of a wine aroma. It has a very sweet apple juice taste and nice carbonation. I like this hard cider better than most that I’ve tasted.

Well, it tastes like cider. I almost decided not to rate the ciders, but changed my mind.

bottle: pint glass: so much better than the pear! Pour was the same, highly carbonated but leaving a thing film of head. The nose was all apples, reminds me of childhood... Solid cider taste, nothing over the top... again this is only a once in a while drink for sure...

I really just prefer the Granny Smith variety over the amber versions in most every cider brand.

Well it was very sweet and smelled of apples. Tasted like apple cider. Good but not overly surprising and new but still a nice treat every now and then. Good amount of carbonation. After more than one you will feel it in the stomach. Best when mixed 50/50 with Guinness Draught to make a black apple. Also cuts down on the acidity.

(draft). Clear amber color. Spare white head. Sweet apple juice aroma. Sweet apple flavor with light alcohol. Avg duration. Finish has a very light bitterness. Thin texture. Soft carbonation. Spare lacing.

Overall Impression: I’m certainly not going to go overboard attacking this one or anything, I think it’s OK for a cider, not great, but not terrible, but I actually prefer some of Woodchuck’s other offering more then this one. It servers its purpose, but at the same time, I rarely find myself wanting one of these...
