Smells like sweet apples and alcohol. It is a light golden color and has pretty good carbonation. I bought this one in a Woodchuck sampler and it is the most robust of the bunch. Sweet apple taste and detectable alcohol. Slightly musky and sour at the end.

Bottle. Amber colored with no real head to speak of. Smells like apple juice with a spike of alcohol in it. Tastes like apple juice also. Far to sweet.

sweet and drinkable. This stuff is better on draft, and refreshing in a weird way. When you don’t want a beer this is a good alternative. When would you not want a beer though?

12.28.04 12oz bottle. Okay, I’m a glutton for cider and punnishment and I’ve not had either for a while. Pours yellow-gold and clear with pretty big head that seems to linger (although that might be residue from the Dupont saison I just drank). Aroma is apple-like with a little bit of wine and hints of must. Body is fuller than expected, not awfuly sweet, mostly it tastes like apple juice with a more tart bite and light eff. Well, I like apple juice so this is drinkable.

Bottle. I’m not sure that this is really worth rating. It is hard apple cider.... how is this beer and why should we rate this stuff? It is alcoholic soda. Oh well. This is good smelling alcoholic apple cider. It is hard on the back of the throat as it is too sweet and much like a White Mountain citrus wine cooler in that there is no really good thing about it except the first 4 seconds where you say... "this might be alright’. Not worth drinking.

pours a light golden color w/ a ton of carbonation and little if any head. The scent was of sugar and fruit but fairly faint. The palate was smooth and highly carbonated. The taste was very sweet w/ hints of apple and pear... Overall I like this beer in small doses as it’s too sweet to drink much more than a pint of.

So... this is a beer huh? Yellow gold colour, no head. Apple tasting, a bit sweet at first, then sour. An interesting beer, but not my favourite style.
