| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Mar 6, 2004 Updated: Jan 3, 2005This one doesn’t even seem like a beer. More of an apple wine, really. The aroma knocks you off your feet and the taste doesn’t let you down either. It even looks more like a wine than a beer. If you’re looking for beer, stay away. If you’re looking for a great cider or "apple wine" this one’s for you...***Wow! You must try this cider on draught. It is absolutely amazing and I highly recommend it in this fashion. I have raised my ratings to fit the draught experience. BückDich (4848), McCall, Idaho, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 14, 2004 Light bronze color with not much head nor lacing. The aroma is lightly citrusy and tart, semisweet, not overly dry either. The flavor is full and rich with a light body, the apple variety is a bit less crisp than most, a little musky, that's how I like them. Finishes nice and balanced with tart and sweet, a little dry but still with enough residual sugars to let you know it's a sweet cider. This isn't those musky normandie cider's that have been aging for years, this is a fresh clean crisp modern cider. TChrome (1299), Bedford, Texas, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 13, 2004 My first cider. Brew pours mostly macro brewish. Clear golden with a white dissipating head that is retained areound the edges of the glass only. Exhibits lively carbonation. Aroma is rather one dimensionally apple. Can't tall any difference between this and a glass of apple juice. Flavor is nicely reminiscent of apple juice, but is substantially more crisp. Won't be replacing more traditional beer styles for me, however this is an enjoyable beverage. djbuddha (90), Many, Louisiana, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 5, 2004 The first cider that I have ever tried. Wanted something a little different, so I decided to try a pint at the pub. Very refreshing, crisp taste. No complaints even though I won't drink it often. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 31, 2004 This isn't really beer, but very tasty none the less. Sweet taste and tastes just like regular cider except for the carbonation and bite to it. hershiser2 (914), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 1/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 3/20 | Jan 31, 2004 Golden in color. NO head at all. Some carbonation, but without even a hint of a head, this looks unappealing to me.
Nice typical cider smell.
Taste is the same... very cidery, and nice... for the first few sips. After awhile, it gets old, and I wanted a real beer after about a quarter of the glass.
Not drinkable in large quantities. Have a small sampler glass, that's about it.
