12 fl oz bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow to orange with a fully gone head. Vague mouldy aroma with a mild apple note coming through. Quite sweet apple flavoured with a very mild phenolic note. Sweetfruity finish with a light acidic touch. Main impression is a sweet cider though. Why they call it amber I dont get. Nice one.

A boring cider with not enough carbonation and way too much apple flavor to the point that it overpowers. Almost tastes like a non-alcoholic beverage. Will not be having again.

Bottle at Secklow Hundred (JDW), Milton Keynes, in Wetherspoons Festival ’08. Gold. Aroma is faint and sweet. Intensely sweet candy taste. You think at first there has to be a little sourness coming through, but you are wrong. As poor as that other Woodchuck cider that Wetherspoons have shipped thousands of miles across the ocean for our entertainment. Alright, I admit, it began to grow on me.

A Mes rate: bottle at the Crosse Keys ’Sporks.
Certainly better than the Granny Smiths but still a long way from enjoyable. A very basic hugely sweet cider with nothing to get excited about.

Clear pour with just a hue of yellow. Aroma of sweet apple cider. Flavor isn’t bad, just very sweet. Fond memories of being the ’fraternity family cider’...

Bottle@The High Cross, Leicester. Dark golden cider with a lightly dry aroma and a sweet flavour with a lightly dry finish. Overall an average sweet cider.

Pours a yellow orange color with little to no head. Smell is some cellared apples, but a little corn syrupy as well. Flavor is on the sweet side but still has a nice apple kick. Perfectly drinkable and kind of a nice fall flavor.
