| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 2, 2004 12 oz bottle. Dark amber, looks like unfiltered juice or dark cream soda, you know the kind with caramel color.
Fresh juicy flavor, but a bit cheap-tasting, sweet and simple, with a hint of citrusy tang in the finish, decent body. Well above average for a commercial cider, though I’m not really missing this now-retired alcoholic soda. Thanks so much to Flipbrewer for his cross-country trade of this rarity back to its home state! tiggmtl (4311), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Dec 18, 2005 Mildly tart aroma offers notes of green apples and lemons. Clear brown body. Apple flavour is quite sweet up front with some tart citrus in the back end but wood aging is unfortunately not apparent. Light body is fairly simple. Sampled on the PA trip 2005. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 17, 2004 Updated: Apr 19, 2004(12oz bottle) I cannot find this on the Woodchuck website so I am guessing that they no longer make this? Pours the darkest cider I've every laid my eyes on - a beautiful bronze. Every so slight carbonation. Nose is of a port mixed with apples; its rather euphoric. The flavour does consist of a red wine tang. Slight cheap, flat cola finish. Very good and complex of the ciders I'm sampled... beerbuzzmontreal (2922), Montreal, Quebec, Canada
