I have always loved ciders and this didn’t disappoint, Looking at the label and having tried many ciders I had an inkling how it would be... Pours a copper hue, with a strong "dark" apple smell. It has a nice unique flavour, as odd as it sounds it tastes how it looks..Is a good cooking cider as well!

Bottle. Darker amber color, no head, carbonated. Hard to believe, but sweeter than the Amber variety. Other than that, mostly the same. Pretty refreshing, but not something I’d readily buy.

(12oz bottle) Crystal clear amber body topped by an off-white head that’s limited to the edge of the glass. Aroma is medium sweet, champagne yeast, tart apple. Taste is medium sweet, apple, some dryness, tartness, light sourness. Light body, light crispness, light carbonation. Drinkable if fairly boring.

This is the one you want to drink in your giant oak chair infront of your roaring wood burning stove.

Not as good as woodchuck amber, maybe it’s the additional caramelized sugar. This is already too sweet! I’m not sure where the dry comes in, but i guess it is more drying than the amber. It’s a good cider, alright for your sweet-tooth.

I don’t know much about cider, and can’t say honestly I know how to review one. Beer can be reviewed against style and other beers...I’m a bit short on cider experience. That being said, I can’t call myself a fan; this despite having visited the Woddchuck cidery more than a decade ago (before my current interest in beer was properly developed). Appearance is a sparkling dark amber with very little head. This particular cider is fairly "dry," as the label promises, but still has the essence of apple. It tastes very much like apple vinegar to me, which I can’t say is a good thing. For something made from apples, it is not very refreshing, nor do I find it satisfying the way I find a "challenging" beer can be. Not for me.

I embarrassed to have this on my rate card. My wife bought this and it has been sitting in the fridge for weeks...good indication that you don’t want to dig into it if the lady can’t stand it. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not that bad but it certainly has a desert flavor to it. If I could squeeze a piece of wonder bread and a scoop of vanilla in, it would be grandma’s apple pie...hummm.

From Northcoast Coop in Euerka, CA it came in a 12 oz botle and poured a light amber color wtih very small head that was gone in seconds. Nose of apples, flavor of apples, and mouthfeel of apple cider. Actually not compicated but well done and very refreshing to drink.
