Somewhat of an unexpected plus for a cider. Smells like apple juice. Hard to detect the alcohol but very refreshing. Nice tart and sweet taste throughout. Not very dry. Good but not what I expected. euserphriendly (163), Holland, Pennsylvania, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Feb 7, 2005 A little too dry for my taste. If I was going to drink a cider I would probably want something sweeter. yayforbeer (647), Orange Park, Florida, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/20 | Jan 21, 2005 Amber brown with no head. Apple aroma and tart apple flavor. An ok cider with little complexity and little else to make it interesting. A little sweet to be called ’dry’. Just ok. jasonp (1510), Sterling/Dulles, Virginia, USA
| 0.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 2/20 | Jan 11, 2005 Awful. Fiery amber with no head at all. Very tart and sour aroma. Very sweet, tart, medicinal and sour with apples. Thin and watery mouthfeel. jcc83 (137), Athens, Georgia, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 2, 2004 Pours an appetizing copper, with no head and little carbonation. Unlike other ciders I’ve tried, this one is not dominated by sweetness, but instead by a nice, full semi-malty character. Nice dry finish with a sort of lingering caramel flavor. My favorite of the ciders included in the woodchuck sampler pack. Hawksfan17 (717), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Nov 6, 2004 Smells of champagne and apples, pours light brown. Tastes similar, like wine etc. Light bodied and smooth, overall not bad. Not carbonated really, so you can drink it fast if you want. ClarkVV (3578), Allston, Massachusetts, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Oct 25, 2004 2004 bottle. Though the description says it adds caramelized sugar (and I’m sure they arent lying) the bottle just says, "caramel coloring". Interesting. Aroma of lightly sweet caramel notes, some dry appleskins, hint of yeast. Looks dark brown, almost chocolatey with some light purpleish tinges. Color aside (I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt on the coloring issue), this beer is anything but dry. I was hoping it would be dry, but no. This is sweet, too sweet, like too much apple sugar meets too much caramel sugar. Sugary, with a molasses/brown sugar thing going on. Yuck.
