The dark and dry has notes of carmalization in it, it’s slightly less sweet than it’s woodchuck cousins. Still pretty sweet, though.

Cloudy brown coloring with an apple aroma. This one is a deeper apple flavor. It reminds me of the dark varieties of apple sauce. An interesting cider.

Nice amber, brown color with little head. Simple nose of apple cider. Nice sparkle on the tongue with a very short watery finish. Basic apple flavors with a light carmel note. Simple pleasant on a hot day, though not my favorite.

I’m not sure about the carmelized sugar for color... my bottle said carmel color was added to achieve the effect. It is a bit sweet for being "dry". The apple flavors are pleasant -- some tart and floral notes in there -- but there’s little complexity here. And the carmel colors and list of ingredients make me wary.

Before I started with beer, there was only cider. How did I not rate all the woodchuck. This is nowhere near the best cider out there, but it drinkable. Perhaps too sweet though.

Meh, this started out okay, but quickly got sticky sweet with a dusky aftertaste that ruined the inital tartness. Once again, ladies and gents, stick with fresh unpasteurized cider.....yummy.

My first cider. Poured a light brown with no head. Smelled like apple juice tasted like apple juice. Tart finish. So this is why they call it cider.
