Commercial Description:
Dark and Dry is made with a blend of apples and champagne yeast but caramelized sugar is added just before filtering to impart a deep bronze tone. White sugar is used in the Amber Cider.

Dark copper, light brown appearance. No head. Very fizzy like champagne. OK apple aroma. Pretty good apple flavor. Not as sweet as other ciders.

Beer pours very dark copper color with a quickly dissipating off white head. Aroma is heavy apples and light brown sugar. What’s not to like about drinking fremented apple juice. Apple flavor is crisp and fairly dry. These are enjoyable though seemingly unrelated to most beers.

Sweet Apple. Not a ton of flavor. A bit dry....Not my favorite rendition from this brewery.

Darker amber with practially no head, but a bit bubbly in the body. Aroma is sweet enough to smell like apple juice. Flavor is quite tart and sweet, but actually not much apple in there. Thin-bodied but mildly sticky; I’m not really sure what to expect from ciders in general, though. Drinkable; better than some others I have tried.

Nice dark caramel color, very little happening with carbonation. Some life in the body, and a richer palate than some US ciders. Decent aroma with some apple, some sweetness. The flavor is much more sweet than expected from a "dry" cider. Moderately flavored, decent cider--definitely better than Woodpecker.

Pours dark brown, with a nice apple/spice aroma. Tastes dry, with a good apple and champagny dryness at the finish.

Not bad. Auburn tinted amber, with moderate fizz. Aroma is weak, of candy apples. Flavor is more sour-apple candy, modestly sweet, with a semi-dry finish. Despite its relative dryness this is overall a sweet fruity drink that does little to attract me. Its thin yet somewhat heavy-handed fruit body provides little complexity.

A hint of apple flavor, same sugary body as the other Woodchuck ciders. There is no real flavor here. It does have a dry ending, but I’m not really sure why that’s a good thing.
