| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Apr 22, 2004 Tart apple aroma, a vague yeasty farminess (?), something like plastic or a chemical (?!) and a bit of sugary sweetness. Iced tea appearance. Flavor is interesting, takes a few sips for my palate to adjust to the strange fruity tartness. Apple juice flavors up front, becoming more tart and lightly acidic, some brown sugar flavor in the finish, which is actally somehow a little dry. Easy drinking, not much in the way of body. I'm not digging this aroma much at all but the flavor is more agreeable, luckily. Just kind of strange. Ernest (4513), Boulder, Colorado, USA
| 1.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Apr 13, 2004 Virtually no head. Body is clear dark amber. Aroma is notes of Jolly
Rancher apple flavoring and corn syrup. Flavor is heavily sweet,
moderately acidic. Finish is moderately sweet, moderately acidic. Light
to medium body, watery texture, fizzy carbonation. I don't understand
why some people seem to think Green Mountain is a serious cider
producer...let's take a look at the ingredient list of this one for
example: apple juice from concentrate (couldn't even spring for fresh
juice!), malic acid, sugar (natural apple sugars aren't enough, eh?),
caramel color (hmm, wondered why it's dark, did you?), natural apple
flavors (the apples themselves clearly aren't sufficient), potassium
sorbate and sulfites
(mmmmm, preservatives, my favorite)...you know, I don't think it takes a
brain surgeon to realize what type of consumer they're targeting. This
is soda pop with alcohol, nothing more. awaller05 (301), Sharon, Wisconsin, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 21, 2004 I expected a little better but its alright. Dark brown appearance. The apple flavor isnt very evident. Very waterry with a sugary aftertaste. Not much of anything going on here! Whatever. Hopistotle420 (1178), Amherst, Massachusetts, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 8, 2004 Nice amber hue. Small white head. Sweet, lightly carmelized apple, spice nose. I feel that these ciders from Green Mountain are very nice, perhaps not the most complex and intricate, but decent ciders that are very tastey and true to style. Pleasant palate, brown sugar is evident, finishing faintly dry. Not too shabby. BückDich (4857), McCall, Idaho, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 23, 2004 Dark ruby amber color, very pretty, best looking cider I've ever had. The aroma is deliciously sweet with lots of spikes of fresh apples and low caramel/sugary essence. The flavor is very well balanced and no alcohol is detectable with lots of tart/sweet apples. Finishes smooth and mild, refreshing and crisp. Delicious cider, one of the best I've had. flemdawg (485), Naples, Florida, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 24, 2004 Aroma of apples, of course. Didnt see any head, but I may have blinked. The color was of, well apples cider. Taste, you guessed it, apples. Fruity sweet and good. My first cider hopefully wont be my last. hotstuff (3181), Indiana, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 24, 2004 This cider formed no head with fine sized bubbles that completely dissipated. The body was transparent with some fast rising carbonation with an amber hue. The nose was sweet and of apple juice. As for the flavor, I did not like my initial taste, but after the second taste I really liked this cider. It had a sweet and apple juice flavor with a smooth mouthfeel. There was no lacing on the sides of my glass. If you're looking to try a cider, I recommend this one.
