I feel like a pussy drinking this. When poured in a glass it looks like apple juice. I hope The Beer god, Duffman, can forgive me for drinking this. It was just sitting in my fridge and I’m trying to get to my 100th beer by my birthday. I’m sorry.

Bottle. Pours clear orange, barely any head. Aroma is apple, malt, oak, caramel. Flavor is apple, malt, some woodiness, cinnamon & nutmeg. Sweet and dry.

Picked up a single 12-oz bottle from Cellar’s Wine & Spirits in St Paul, MN. Pours a clear brownish amber beverage with some splash bubbles on top. Aroma of tart apples, some dry caramel and a touch of spice. Taste is fruity apple, some brown sugar, maybe a little vinegar. Finish is slightly tart with a light vinegar aftertaste.

Man this cider is a mess. Pours a yellow borwn color that look slike some sort of odd chemical. Smells like apples and spice. Taste like pure malt vinegar. Pretty nasty actually.

Clear watery amber pour with no head. almost no visible carbonation. Smell is sweet and slightly tart apple, and perhaps a touch of caramel. Almost no carbonation in my bottle. Very soft carbonation anyway. Slightly less sweet than the granny smith version of the same brewer, but less tartness that I liked in the other as well.

A delicious cider. These are hard to rate for me because I’ve never had a cider I didn’t like. Aroma and taste of apple with a sweet aftertaste that is refreshing and dry.

this not too sweet and still fruity. Not really my cup of tea but it was a nice change of pace at the Split Rock beerfest.

Rated while drinking: Pours a caramel like color with a tiny ring of a head. Compared to the other Woodchucks, at least this has a color. Pleasant apple and fruity aroma, but very subtle. Flavor is tart and a tad bit sugary, but the taste zips in and out, leaving a sweet aftertaste behind. Tingly on the tongue and mouth, with a very crisp feel. On par with Woodchuck’s Amber.
