Aroma is medium sweet, champagne yeast, tart apple. Taste is medium sweet, apple, some dryness, tartness, light sourness. Light body, light crispness, light carbonation. Drinkable if fairly boring. hopdog (5576), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA

Clear, amber cider with a small, frothy, white head. Decent retention. The nose is of overripe apples. Fruity, sweet and tart flavor profile. Medium-bodied and satiny with soft carbonation. Finishes fruity and a touch sweet. Not so dry! Cletus (5055), Connecticut, USA

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jul 9, 2006 Dark yes, dry no. Amber colour, no head. Sweet aroma, light caramel, appley sweetness. Strong brown sugar and some traces of apple skin. For something called dry, it’s anything but. Gets cloying. Cornfield (4938), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 27, 2006 Deep amber body with a thin head - Whoops! Scratch the head. The aroma is sweet fresh apples with a touch of tartness. The sweet apples take over the flavor with a hint of sourness returning in the dry, apple skin finish. Not bad.
