Dark and Dry is made with a blend of apples and champagne yeast but caramelized sugar is added just before filtering to impart a deep bronze tone. White sugar is used in the Amber Cider.

Another wonderful creation from the folks at Green Mountain. This one closely rivals their Amber variety, but has just a hint of dry aftertaste, nothing offensive though.

Jeepers! A cider dunkel. It’s a bit crisper and drier, but the Woodchuck Brewery can do no wrong. This is delicious. Tastes a lot like the Amber with maybe more sourness.

Easily my favorite cider. Deep flavor but dry. Great color, easy to drink. Wish I drank more of it!

Not quite as dark as a dark beer, but darker than any cider I have ever seen in my steeler stein. Delicious initial bite. Sweeter than most any beer. Finish has a slight strong apple peel flavor that lingers for just a short time. Pretty good. Can be compared to a very sweet stout or a weizenbock or weizen dunkle if you like sweet.

Pours a nice copper with no head, but its a cider so thats to be expected. Nice fresh apple flavor with hints of champagne to it. Crisp, sweet finish. Very drinkable. Definitely worth a try

The name of the cider is ’dark & dry’! it’s not supposed to be over-sweet. This is excellent cider.
