I’m pretty impressed with this one. Much fuller taste than the granny smith, alot sweeter too. Dark golden brown in color, aroma is sweet and of apples. NPRugby11 (97), New York, USA

Drinks almost as easily as a soda, not bad but Woodchuck does make better jbuzz (664), South Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 22, 2009 Experienced from a 12oz bottle in a tulip glass. The cider pours a color that is certainly not dark. More like a medium amber. The nose is very similar to regular Woodchuck, with perhaps a slightly more pronounced apple character. The palate is also very similar to the original, with perhaps the only change being that it is slightly fuller across the palate. The apple character is artificial and superficial, and the finish is more sweet than dry. Overall, this is a mass-market effort, not one that evidences artisanal production and emphasis on quality. Worth skipping. angrypirate06 (781), Texas, USA

Some dry notes as well. Taste is apple upfront with a dryness edging around. Finishes crisp and pleasuring. This is very reminiscent of a sweet reisling and can leave your palate a little parched. Nose is of over-ripe tree fruit and it has a very light mouthfeel. Bring the taste back through your nose and you get more green pear than anything. Not a poor cider, but not the best. travita (1970), Frisco, Texas, USA
