| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Feb 24, 2008 The tartness and slightly better carbonation makes this the best of the Woodchuck Cider family. Unfortunately, that is still not saying much. jstraw (777), Chicago, Illinois, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 15/20 | Jan 21, 2008 Not too shabby, even if it is kind of the Coors of the cider world. Looks fairly plain, has a nice aroma of sweet and sour going on, along with the apples. Nice tart flavor, goes down good, but leaves too much of a sticky after taste behind. Clean taste, with a nice balance of flavor and tart. Very drinkable, and was actually my "beer" of choice for a few years. Nice change of pace. I like it a lot, despite the low rating on this site. But, I also like PBR :) Beershine (2754), Traipsing Around, Cambodia
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jan 18, 2008 Pours pissy pale, looking and smelling like cheap white wine, maybe even a cooler. Hardly any little champagne-like bubbles, if any at all. Lacks the fresh crisp apple smell I was hoping for, especially since the Granny Smith apple can be so tart. Actually the tartness does come through in the flavors, but the cider is far too thin to carry the apple forward. Initial taste is promising but the flavors fade fast. No depth, no body. Highly carbonated. zebracakes (1217), Washington DC, USA
| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/20 | Jan 12, 2008 Bottle. Pours pale clear yellow, thin white head that disappears. Aroma is apple and cotton candy. Flavor is tangy, bitter apple. Slight tartness. Not blended well and the bitterness is chemical-like. johndavidj99 (123), Township, Maine, USA

Clear golden with no bubbles however. I can smell it 2 feet away...o yes granny smith apples. Light thin body but not noticeably watered down. I like it MUCH better than Ephemere! I could drink this for a buzz on a hot day in Texas. Not too sweet. Skyview (4097), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 30, 2007 Picked up a single 12-oz bottle from Cellar’s Wine & Spirits in St Paul, MN. Pours a clear very light greenish gold beverage with no head or bubbles. Aroma of tart apples with a touch of white pepper. Taste is definitely Granny Smith tart apples with some citrus wood character. Finish is slightly tart with the typical dry cider aftertaste. One of Woodchuck’s better ciders. lb4lb (2011), Austin, Texas, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 1/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Dec 25, 2007 pours with no head. Damn near clear like water. Very faint hint of color, but it looks like seltzer. Smell is just ok. Malty with some apple sweetness and perhaps a touch of skunkiness. Taste is ok, but not great. Sweet and pretty tart granny smith flavor as well. More lightly carbonated than I would have thought, and an extremely thin body and pretty thin flavor to go along. Not an impressive cider, even for somebody that hasn’t had any "good" ones, but very drinkable, and simple.
