| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jun 21, 2004 Clear in color with a golden hue and a small white lacing. Looks like watered down ginger ale. Mellow apple aroma. Flavor of tart apples that finishes very dry and thin. PhillyBeer2112 (2090), Orange Park, Florida, USA
| 1.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 1/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/20 | Jun 7, 2004 Caramel color additives give this the barest hint of straw to beige color - it might be better off clear. Light fizz. Off-apple aroma, bitter-apple flavor. Moderate tartness and dry finish - a bonus that its not a sweet beverage, but its apple flavors are indistinct and muddled, bordering on artificial. I’m not entirely sure that granny smiths are the best apple for cider. jollyraider (252), Los Angeles, California, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | May 19, 2004 I prefer the amber Woodchuck, as granny smith apples have always disagreed with me. I’d like it better if gs apples didn’t make me feel like vomiting. thedm (3836), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 10/20 | May 15, 2004 This bottled cider poured a small head of quickly diminishing finely sized white colored bubbles. The body was transparent uncarbonated and almost clear in color yet had a hint of yellow to it. The mouth feel was tingly bubbly and smooth. The aroma was mild and sweet like giant Red Delicious apples and the flavor tasted like red apples too. DocLock (4648), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA

Poured a very small white head with fine sized bubbles that quickly dissipated. This cider had very little carbonation, transparent and the hue was clear. The aroma was sweet and of apples. The flavor was sweet, lightly sour, syrupy and apples. The mouthfeel was syrupy. This was a light bodied beer with very sparse lacing. Cobra (1066), In a van, down by the river, Maryland, USA
| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 10/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | May 9, 2004 12 oz. green stubbie bottle. Twist off cap. I hate twist offs. Anyway, it poured out a very pale golden yellow color, Almost a straw color. Not much head, but left a small ring of foam around the edges of the glass. Aromas are of ripe Granny Smith apples, Jolly Rancher Apple candy, slight yeastiness, tart fresh pressed cider aromas abound. Tastes like a liquid apple. Very sweet at first, then slightly yeasty, then the tartness hits you. Not offensively so, but just enough to cut the sweetness. Slight yeast bite in the finish. A top notch cider in my book.
