It tastes exactly like a granny smith apple so I give points to being exactly what it's advertised as. The sweetness may be a turnoff for some. A little tart as well. I enjoyed it. invalid (302), Columbus, Ohio, USA

With the tartness from the apples, this cider was like drinking a Sour Apple sucker. I couldn't finsh a bottle without making me stomach vow revenge. beermatrix (1497), Twin Cities, Minnesota, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Sep 20, 2003 Color is a light pale yellow reminescent of a white wine with some small bubbly carbonation and fizzy soda pop-like head that foams away quickly. Smell is like freshly washed and cut Granny Smith Green apples, ready for snacking. Appled spice and juicy with a good sourish aroma. Absolutely wonderful, since Granny Smith apples are always a fav of mine to snack on while camping and hiking. Taste is about what I was expecting, Granny Smith apples, fresh, juicy, light and sour, kinda spritzy and appley tart, quite nice and refreshing. Gets much easier to handle as it warms, the sharp carbonation and tartness really comes out when its cold, I liked it better after settling awhile. Overall, a very good cider, but its not something I'd have more then one of, the taste can be a bit much after so much of the same when it comes to a one dimensional drink such as ciders. Artificial sweet apple taste. I was hoping for a crisp bitter flavor, but it didnt deliver. way too sweet. I think about 10 years ago when I had the pear, woodchuck was less commercial and thus made a better product. WabashMan (805), Noblesville, Indiana, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 1/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jul 8, 2003 Strange how clear (as in WATER) this cider is. Haven't seen much like it before, and I can't say I want to again. Nose is a bit sour, and also not so pleasant. Flavor is a little tart, but not overly. Overall, this isn't nearly as good as other woodchuck ciders. PorterPounder (3137), Tallahassee, Florida, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 1, 2003 Detect a light bit of sour Granny Smith in the aroma - but not overly apparent. White wine like appearance - no head whatsoever. Has a bit of a sweet-n-sour taste to it - sort of reminds me of sour apple Now-or-Laters (candy). Decent mouthfeel -just a tad artificial. Overall - a decent drink - will never replace beer in my opinion - but nice to try something different. BückDich (4847), McCall, Idaho, USA
