Light apple aroma. Clear dark golden color with a small and quickly fading white head. Initially apple taste with a slight bitterness in the middle and a sweet finish. Mild amount of wood taste in the end.

Bottle - Perfect Pour. Clear dark gold, thin white head. Soft granny smith apple nose rides a touch of caramel oak. Semi-sweet dried apple flavor balances on hints of vanilla wood. Light bodied, soft carbonation, apple oak finish. Nicely done. Quite drinkable to say the least...

Courtesy of fishingnet. Pours gold with thin white head that vanished pretty quickly. The aroma is of apples, booze and vanilla. The taste is both smooth and refreshing bringing up notes of apples, smooth mild oak wood notes and vanilla. It ends dry and with a thin body.

Bottle… Clear amber cider with a small, fizzy, quickly dissipating head. Woodsy, apply nose - suggestions of sour mash and apple butter. Medium-bodied with fizzy carbonation. Sweet and woodsy with just a whisper of sour mash. Basically, a middle-of-the-road cider with fizz. Lengthy, sweet, mildly bourbony finish that dries out a touch in the end.

Pours clear copper with a small patchy white head. The aroma has the typical apple, but there is a dryness from the oak balancing the sweetness with just a hint of tartness. Medium / light body that is silky with only a bit of carbonation. The taste has semi-sweet apple, bits of oak and a lushness to the flavor. The finish is fairly dry and oaky. This is quite enjoyable for a mass produced cider.

Pours a clear relatively thin looking pale amber color with a little bubbling, but no real head. A sweet sort of vinegary apple cider aroma with just a hint of oak thrown in there for good measure. Hmmm... very very sweet. Pretty much like regular Woodchuck... aged in oak... which is pretty much what this is. Apples and oak chips with a little bit of a chardonnay quality. If they let this dry out a little bit, I think I would really enjoy it. Right now, the 1 bottle split 3 ways is plenty.
