Commercial Description:
Woodchuck Draft Cider® Oak Aged is a perfect culmination of Premium French and Traditional American Oak, giving the cider great complexity and broad characteristics that neither style could produce on its own. Handcrafted using a centuries old technique, this cider has tremendous depth; offering a unique taste and special aroma not found in any other American hard cider. Starting with an attractive oak taste and finishing with a touch of vanilla, Woodchuck Oak Aged pairs effortlessly with holiday dishes.

Nice-looking amber pour. Fresh, strong aroma of herbs and malt (strangely enough). This is a very flavorful cider. The oak is subtle and adds a little woody backbone to the lightly sweet cider. This is one of the best things I’ve had from Woodchuck, which is one of the best of the big American cideries.

Pours a dirty gold-bronze with a thin fizzy white head that fades pretty quickly to a ring and holds for alittle while. Aroma is cooked apples, light earthy notes, a little caramel and sweet floral notes. Flavor is sweetish red and green apples, maybe a touch of honey here and there, hints of oak and vanilla throughout with just a little earthiness. Palate is pretty light with a medium, but not too sharp carbonation. Not bad overall, but it seems like a 3/5ths strength version of something spectacular.

Nothing earth shattering, but as a cider, it gets the job done. Slight oak tones are noticed. Easily bongable.

Bottle. Pour is light clear yellow like your usual cider. Sweet oaky nose of sugars, musk, champagne, apples. Taste is similair.. Soft mellow oak tones really add to this.

Bottle. 12 oz. Pours golden clear with a thin white head. Average aroma and sub par taste. I dislike ciders, so that may explain my distaste for this brew.

Poured a clear golden body with thin head. Aroma is light wood and tart apples. Flavor has a nice balance to it, not overpowering and one-sided.

This poured a clear yellow color with a white head. Aroma was urine, sweat, and garbage. Flavor if possible, was worse.
