Commercial Description:
For years, we've been telling you that great taste grows on trees -- apple trees that is. But just across the orchard we discovered another kind of great taste. We went out on a limb and created Woodchuck Pear Cider, a crisply refreshing drink with the tantalizing essence of pear. You can buy it in 6-packs or on draft.

This is the first cider I’ve ever tried. Pours very light yellow with carbonation. Virtually no head. Aroma is like green apple jolly ranchers. The pear flavor comes through a bit and it’s not as sweet as the aroma would suggest. Really an intriguing concept. Very refreshing. I’ll have to try the other ciders to get a better basis for comparison.

Almost clear in appearance, with no head. Very light aroma of pear, and the flavor seems to be just a slightly stronger imitation of the aroma. Very watery, and not nearly as appealing as the apple ciders from the same company.

Clear liquid, some bubbles in it. Scent is pear, but more "cany" pear than actual pear. Taste is thin and watery, very boring... with a candied sweetness to it that’s quite unappetizing.

Bottle. Poured a small white head, carbonated, and transparent. Pear and sweet aroma. Flavor was sweet, a little sour, tart, pear and tingly. Tingly, sweet and dry mouthfeel. Did not do a whole lot for me.

Very pale yellow with no head and small sparkle. Faint pear and dishsoap/turkish delight aroma. Sweet begining with a finish that disappears quick. Though not everyone has had turkish delight this most definatly is the predominate flavor. Eh!

Light pear aroma, clear in color. Not much to the appearence. Tastes pretty good for pear cider I guess. Smooth and a treat.

On tap: Weak pear aroma. Very pale yellow, almost clear wtih no head. Kind of sour pear taste all the way thru. A little increased sourness in the finish. Pear comes thru a little stronger in the finish as well.

Very light color with a sweet pear aroma. Light, sweet, and crisp. The pear/apple flavor is hit with a bit of sourness that fades quickly. This does not seem to have any alcohol flavor. Not bad at all.
