Poured out a brilliant, bright yellow color. It had a small white head at first, but slid back to a thin ring of foam around the sides of the glass. Sweet aromas of pears, and slight perfume as well. Tastes were of pears, apples, slight yeasty bite. Crisp, clean mouthfeel. Thick enough to coat the tongue, but not overpowering or cloying. Tart finish to it. A good cider overall.

| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 1/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | May 19, 2004 On tap. The best thing this beverage had going for it was the aroma - very strong sweet pears. Otherwise, I was disappointed - it looked like a chardonnay, and it was WAY too carbonated to be truly enjoyed. If Bacardi Silver made a pear flavored malt beverage, it would taste like this. Disappointing. DocLock (4648), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 11, 2004 Had this at the Ortlieb’s fest...and this was the first time I have tried hard ciders. Very nice pear and champagne aroma. Very pale yellow pour. Excellent Bartlett pear flavor, with a slight champagny finish. Very nice. badgerben (3600), Blaine, Minnesota, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | May 8, 2004 Alcoholic pear juice. Medium carbonation with a slightly yellow color. It’s kind of on the syrupy side. Not horrific, but not much redemption either. PhillyBeer2112 (2087), Orange Park, Florida, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Apr 28, 2004 Not a true perry but a cider base with pear flavorings. Nevertheless, the big surprise of the night is how much I enjoyed this! Aroma is not great, with pears, alcohol, and pepper. The palate is nicely dry and soft with an authentic squishy ripe pear flavor. Carbonation is present but does not draw attention. I was happy to find this not sweet at all - its something I’d definitely drink again. Curiously pale, hardly any color at all, light rising of foam that quickly dissipates, as one would expect (no proteins in this?)

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Apr 13, 2004 Aroma is pears. Appearance is dirty water. Flavor is somewhat off and I cant put my finger on it. The pear flavor is definitley there along with a syrupy mouthfeel. Ah whatever. CapFlu (3482), Victoria, British Columbia, Canada
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 1/5 | 5/10 | 1/5 | 10/20 | Mar 17, 2004 (12oz bottle) Pours a clear body of a light white wine. Nose of cantaloupe with slight "bruised" pear. Light texture; flavour of sweet pear and candied apple. Tart, dry finish. Too sweet for my liking... Drew (2409), Kent, Ohio, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Mar 3, 2004 Starts off with some nice sweet pear flavor and a very dry finish. As it warmed, the pear flavors became more artificial and sugary.
