50 cL bottle. Pours dark brown with a fully diminished tan head. Roasted malt and mild choclate aroma. Flavour is solid roasted with a distinct chocolate flavour and spiced bitterness. Ends with a growing bitterness mixed with a roasted acidic note.

Bottle. Chocolate, coffee, cola malt aroma. Dark black color with minimal head. Milk chocolate, black coffee - malt flavor very light. Mild hops finish. Fairly light palate - would have liked more malt flavor.

I’m surprised to see so few ratngs so far. This beer had a lovely complex aroma with liqourice, treacle, spicy hops and vanilla. The treacley malt sweetness carried through in the flavour with the reassuring bitterness from the roast malt and a bitter dark chocolate finish. perfect low carbonation. Really good quality.
