Poured from the bottle, a very light orange with no head. A cirtus fruit hop aroma. Very smooth with some hoppiness - very easy to drink.

Cask conditioned GBBF 2005: Yeasy aroma. Sweet malty flavour with a long fruity finish. An average blonde ale.

Floral, perfumey, soapy hops are mild in the clean, fresh, cereal malt nose. Clear golden blonde with low, large bubbled, off-white head that recedes to a partial cover. Floral, herbal and leafy hop tones over a simple, clean, fresh, malt base. Medium light body with fair carbonation. Cask at GBBF 2005.

On tap at GBBF 05. Golden beer, with a ring of head. Rounded, flabby malt. Early promise disappears. Not great, but I’m unsure of the condition here.

Cask conditioned - handpump - GBBF 2005. A bright gold coloured beer with a dry fruity hoppy aroma. The taste has some hops coming through but is a bit sulphuric. Shame as Woodfordes is a good brewer.

Bottle: Clear gold with a short white head. Clean malt aroma with some mild floral hoppiness. Sweet biscuity malts with some subdued toffee. Slightly citric hop finish. Medium bodied, not bad.

Bottle. A lagery sort of ale. Light pale malt sweetness, with some grassy, flowery hops. Mouthfeel is fairly dry, with some quenching crisp bitterness right at the end, lightly lemony at the end. Not too bad, a nice summer drink i would imagine.
