Gold with a thin white head, slightly hazy; citrus aroma with disturbing farmyard hints; soft and full-bodied with a smooth syrupy mouthfeel; rounded bitter finish. Very drinkable.

Nelson’s Revenge from Woodfordes is a clear amber brew with a scarce hint of a head. There is a welcoming dose of both hop and malt aromas to the nose. On the tongue it delivers a welcome malt taste with a proportional hop finish. I certainly have no complaints about this, another rather agreeable beer, from Woodfordes. Amber, sparkler head. Lightly hoppy aroma. Zesty bitter taste. Pleasant sweet maltiness. Maybe emasculated by the sparkler. Hint of mushroom.
