Mar 15, 2004 The aroma is very fresh hoppy on a malty and yeasty background. The color is a clear orange and it has a beutiful lasting white head. The flavor is also very fresh with on a sweet background it contains strong notes of hops, both aroma and bitter, fruit (oranges), oil, and grass. Before it ends on a great bitterness that leaves a hoppy dryness on the tongue. A great bitter - and mine was even bottle conditioned.

Dec 5, 2008 50 cL bottle, courtesy of fonefan. Pours cloudy to hazy orange with a fully gone head. Mild brett-ish and dry aroma. Light fruity and mild floral spiced flavour. Lingering fruity and mild bitter finish.

Amber coloured with flowery aroma. Light bodied, and rather sweet and a tad buttery. Mild with well rounded mouthfeel and low bitterness. Not bad, but doesn't live up to my high expectations of Woodforde's ales.

Clear medium orange color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, apple, chlorine. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20081003]

Jun 28, 2005 Cask at Bohemian, Deal. Hop nose is reminiscent of Wherry but this has more body from the extra alcohol. Overall a really good beer, that I would have been happy to drink all afternoon.
