| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jul 30, 2008 Pours a cloudy, hazy golden with abundant yeast. Mellow citric taste, not very complex or spectacular. Watery, somewhat bland in the mouth. This is a blond summer ale which should only be taken if you are very thirsty and rather have an ale than water. Refreshing but not very fullfeling. RichardGretton (3145), Leicestershire, England

A clear golden ale in colour with a fairly thin white head. The paleness, in terms of appearance, also translates to the lack of ’oomph’, so to speak, in the rest of this brew. The aromas are clean and remind me of a summer’s evening, of freshly cut grass and a certain citric hop quality also appeals to the nose. The flavours are also somewhat grassy, with some citric fruit and floral tones. A light, dry bitter finish sums this rather simple ale off. Not the best I’ve had from Woodfordes.
