Cask at GBBF 08. Yellowy amber. Pronounced apple flavour at the start of the sip and then lots of floral hops. Good bitter finish to round things off. A very drinkable golden ale.

Pours a cloudy, hazy golden with abundant yeast. Mellow citric taste, not very complex or spectacular. Watery, somewhat bland in the mouth. This is a blond summer ale which should only be taken if you are very thirsty and rather have an ale than water. Refreshing but not very fullfeling.

Bottle. Blond beer with a light head. The aroma is lightly hopped, and the flavour is strongly dry and hopped. Overall an average beer.

Cask handpull at Cambridge BF 08. Gold with thin off white head. Drinkable golden beer. Easy drinking. Decent balance, orange tangerine satsuma fruit. Just enough malt. Easy drinking quaffing summer ale.

courtesy of Laurent Mousson - clear and pale golden-yellow colour; no foam left; very discrete citrusy aroma; very fizzy, poor malt body with a late tartness; aftertaste of citrus lemonade

Cask - Fur & Feather, Woodbastwick. A clear golden ale in colour with a fairly thin white head. The paleness, in terms of appearance, also translates to the lack of ’oomph’, so to speak, in the rest of this brew. The aromas are clean and remind me of a summer’s evening, of freshly cut grass and a certain citric hop quality also appeals to the nose. The flavours are also somewhat grassy, with some citric fruit and floral tones. A light, dry bitter finish sums this rather simple ale off. Not the best I’ve had from Woodfordes.

Cask at GBBF 2007. A golden beer with a thin white head. Both the aroma and flavor are sweet malty with a good presence of hops.
